Planned: new bike path and waterfront connection

We will be putting in a short section of bike path along the southern side of Post Office Square to create a new biking connection between Customhouse Quay and Jervois Quay.

There will also be a dedicated cycle crossing over Jervois Quay to Queens Wharf and better kerb ramps for people on foot.

At present, the one-way traffic lane and pedestrian-only zone in Post Office Square mean it's not possible to cycle all the way to the waterfront from Customhouse Quay and Grey Street.

Changes will be made on this side of Post Office Square to make riding to the waterfront easier.
